For your golf game:  I would like you to observe that you USE THE GOLF CLUB right from the end of your backswing.  This does not mean that feet, legs, hips and shoulders do not move.  All of these things should also move at this time but in response to your intention to USE THE GOLF CLUB.  Many people tell me what they are trying to do in the swing and they mention nearly every part of their body and what that body part must do but they never mention the golf club.  So what should you do with the golf club from the end of your backswing?  Simply swing it forward to the other side of the swing in the direction of the target.

If you need to use a hammer then what do you concern yourself with?  Hopefully you try to use the hammer.  So, from the end of your backswing, you USE THE GOLF CLUB and keep using it to the finish.  When you get to the finish simply hold your finish.  Notice that your hips, shoulders, legs, body and feet all figured out how to get to the finish without you trying to USE THEM.  This is not to say that you will never have to pay attention to parts of the body if you are in a corrective procedure in practice or in building your swing, but the sooner you get back to the golf club the better.  As Manuel de la Torre has said to me, “If you are using your shoulders (from the end of the backswing) then you are not using the club.  If you are USING THE CLUB then you are not using your shoulders.”
